When designing the “Summer Spirits” print, Juliana Plexxo focused on the three objectives that drive all her artistic production: to celebrate the role of women in art, to showcase her Latin roots, and to bring the art of engraving to the forefront.

• Elasticated drawstring waistband.
• Two on-seam pockets and a back Velcro®-fastening flap pocket.
• Front embroidered logo.
• Made in Spain out of recycled PET (upcycled plastic bottles).

Shell: 100% Recyled PET; Lining: 100% Polyester.

  • Rinse with tap water after use.

  • Machine wash in a gentle cycle at 30 °C.

  • Do not use detergent with bleaching agents.

  • Line Dry. Do not tumble dry under any circumstance.

  • If you choose to iron the swim shorts, turn them inside out and set the temperature at 110 °C.

  • Do not dry-clean.

Juliana Plexxo

Juliana Plexxo is a Colombian artist who was raised in Ecuador. Inspired by the work of esteemed painter Oswaldo Guayasamín, Juliana developed a love for the visaul arts at a very young age. She went on to study at the University of Navarra in Spain and laster was invited to join Barcelona’s legendary Joan Barbará workshop, where Picasso, Miró, Dalí and others developed the engraving technique. A pioneer in the art world, she was the first Colombian woman to exhibit at the La Capilla del Hombre, where she was named the next great Hispanic artist.
