Ana Popescu is a visual artist born in Tîrgu-Mures, Romania. She studied at the University of Applied Art in Vienna and went on to make the Austrian capital her home. In 2023 she completed a residency at Paradise Air in Matsudo, Japan.
Popescu’s hand gestures and colour schemes have been compared to illustrious 20th century visual artists.
